Telegram integration
Push submissions to a Telegram chat or channel through a bot, instant notifications on your phone.
What it does
Send each submission to a Telegram chat via a bot. Delivery is asynchronous and retried automatically, and any credentials you enter are encrypted at rest.
Step 1: set up Telegram
Do this once in Telegram to get the details you'll paste into ShipMyForm.
- 1Create a bot. Message @BotFather in Telegram, run /newbot, and copy the bot token.
- 2Get the chat ID. Add the bot to your group or channel, then find the chat ID (e.g. via @userinfobot or the Bot API getUpdates).
Step 2: connect it in ShipMyForm
- 1Open your form's Connectors tab. Choose telegram from the connector list.
- 2Enter your details. Paste Bot token, Chat ID from the steps above.
- 3Add and test. Click Add, then Test to send a sample submission and confirm it arrives.
What you'll enter
- Bot token: Create a bot with @BotFather to get its token.
- Chat ID: The chat/channel id. Add the bot to the chat first.
Use cases
- Instant mobile alerts for solo founders and small teams.
- Notifications to a shared ops group or channel.
- Lightweight lead pings without email noise.
Route Telegram (and everything else) from one form.
A submission can fan out to as many connectors as you like.
