HubSpot integration
Capture every lead straight into HubSpot as a contact, so sales follow-up and marketing automation start the moment someone submits.
What it does
Create a HubSpot contact from each submission. Delivery is asynchronous and retried automatically, and any credentials you enter are encrypted at rest.
Step 1: set up HubSpot
Do this once in HubSpot to get the details you'll paste into ShipMyForm.
- 1Create a private app. In HubSpot, go to Settings → Integrations → Private Apps → Create a private app.
- 2Grant the contacts scope. Give the app the crm.objects.contacts.write scope.
- 3Copy the access token. Copy the private app access token (pat-…).
Step 2: connect it in ShipMyForm
- 1Open your form's Connectors tab. Choose hubspot from the connector list.
- 2Enter your details. Paste Private app access token from the steps above.
- 3Add and test. Click Add, then Test to send a sample submission and confirm it arrives.
What you'll enter
- Private app access token: HubSpot → Settings → Integrations → Private Apps. Needs the crm.objects.contacts.write scope.
Use cases
- Feed website leads directly into your sales CRM.
- Trigger HubSpot workflows and marketing emails on new contacts.
- Grow a newsletter or nurture list from a simple signup form.
Good to know:
- Creates or updates a Contact, mapping email, name, phone, company, and message to standard HubSpot properties.
Route HubSpot (and everything else) from one form.
A submission can fan out to as many connectors as you like.
