Freshdesk integration
Create a Freshdesk ticket for every submission so support requests land in your helpdesk, ready to triage.
What it does
Open a Freshdesk ticket from each submission. Delivery is asynchronous and retried automatically, and any credentials you enter are encrypted at rest.
Step 1: set up Freshdesk
Do this once in Freshdesk to get the details you'll paste into ShipMyForm.
- 1Copy your API key. In Freshdesk, open Profile settings and copy Your API key.
- 2Note your domain. Your domain is the yourco in yourco.freshdesk.com.
Step 2: connect it in ShipMyForm
- 1Open your form's Connectors tab. Choose freshdesk from the connector list.
- 2Enter your details. Paste Domain, API key from the steps above.
- 3Add and test. Click Add, then Test to send a sample submission and confirm it arrives.
What you'll enter
- Domain: Just the subdomain from yourco.freshdesk.com.
- API key: Freshdesk → Profile settings → Your API key.
Use cases
- Support and contact forms become Freshdesk tickets.
- Bug intake routed straight to your helpdesk.
- Auto-create tickets for triage and assignment.
Good to know:
- Requires an email field on the submission (Freshdesk needs a requester).
Route Freshdesk (and everything else) from one form.
A submission can fan out to as many connectors as you like.
