Asana integration

Turn submissions into Asana tasks so requests land in the right project, ready to assign and track.

What it does

Create an Asana task from each submission. Delivery is asynchronous and retried automatically, and any credentials you enter are encrypted at rest.

Step 1: set up Asana

Do this once in Asana to get the details you'll paste into ShipMyForm.

  1. 1Create a personal access token. In Asana, go to Settings → Apps → Developer apps → Personal access tokens and create one.
  2. 2Copy the project ID. Copy the numeric project ID from the project's URL.

Step 2: connect it in ShipMyForm

  1. 1Open your form's Connectors tab. Choose asana from the connector list.
  2. 2Enter your details. Paste Personal access token, Project ID from the steps above.
  3. 3Add and test. Click Add, then Test to send a sample submission and confirm it arrives.

What you'll enter

  • Personal access token: Asana → Settings → Apps → Developer apps → Personal access token.
  • Project ID: The numeric id in the project URL.

Use cases

  • Intake and request forms become tasks in the right project.
  • Content, design, or IT requests routed to a triage board.
  • Track inbound work alongside the rest of your team's tasks.

Route Asana (and everything else) from one form.

A submission can fan out to as many connectors as you like.
