Airtable integration
Route submissions into an Airtable base so you get relational views, filters, and automations on top of your form data.
What it does
Append each submission as a row in an Airtable table. Delivery is asynchronous and retried automatically, and any credentials you enter are encrypted at rest.
Step 1: set up Airtable
Do this once in Airtable to get the details you'll paste into ShipMyForm.
- 1Prepare a base and table. Create (or pick) a base and table in Airtable with columns named to match your form fields, e.g. email, name, message.
- 2Create a Personal Access Token. At airtable.com/create/tokens, create a token with the data.records:write scope and grant it access to just that base.
- 3Copy the Base ID. It's the app… id in the base URL (airtable.com/appXXXXXXXX/…), also shown under airtable.com/developers/web/api.
Step 2: connect it in ShipMyForm
- 1Open your form's Connectors tab. Choose airtable from the connector list.
- 2Enter your details. Paste Personal access token, Base ID, Table name from the steps above.
- 3Add and test. Click Add, then Test to send a sample submission and confirm it arrives.
What you'll enter
- Personal access token: Create at airtable.com/create/tokens with data.records:write scope.
- Base ID
- Table name: Field names must match your submission fields.
Use cases
- A collaborative, relational lead database with kanban and gallery views.
- Trigger Airtable automations (assign, notify, enrich) on each new submission.
- A shared CRM or content pipeline the whole team can edit.
Good to know:
- Airtable rejects a record if a submitted field has no matching column. Make sure every field has a column.
Route Airtable (and everything else) from one form.
A submission can fan out to as many connectors as you like.
